Connecting Seattle's Music Creators to Community, Education, and Opportunity

Description

All of our events and programs are designed to deliver on the promise of Connecting Seattle's Music Creators to Community, Education, and Opportunity. To make this a reality for our members, we rely on your generous support!

The Seattle Composers Alliance (SCA) is a collective of music creators from many backgrounds and disciplines who share, teach, learn and support each other's artistic journey.  Our community includes members from 10 years of age to better than 75; students, professionals, and retirees; amateurs and seasoned industry veterans. The SCA gives every member a chance for their music to be heard!

We serve as a musical resource and partner organization for Seattle's filmmakers, game developers, live performers, and anyone else who needs music to complete their artistic creation...this makes us a crucial part of Seattle's creative economy.

Managed solely by volunteers, all of our activities support the three pillars of our Mission Statement: Community, Education, and Opportunity. Year around, we host performances, networking events, workshops, and speakers. 

Your assistance will help us to compensate speakers and performers, partner with organizations that help members' music to be played and heard, maintain our administrative operations, pay our fiscal sponsor for tax management, and afford the online platforms necessary to meet, teach and perform.
