For Giving Tuesday, Give a Life Changing Gift

Since our founding, Seattle Animal Foundation has been the lifeline for thousands of animals in need across our region. In 2025 alone, we helped provide essential care, support, and second chances to 5,055 animals from 1,746 families across 47+ zip codes throughout the greater Seattle area.

We don't run the shelters, rescues, or clinics – we make them better. This year our strategic grants funded:

Foster Care: Over 2,600 dogs, cats, and critters found loving foster homes through our Foster Care Coordinator program, with 1,474 active foster families providing temporary care.

Behavior Support: 736 dogs and 155 cats received specialized behavior training, giving animals like Queen (pictured)– who came from abuse and neglect – a second chance at a forever home.

Best Chance Clinics: 1,535 animals received free vaccines, medical care, and supplies through our monthly clinics, with 571 spay/neuter surgeries scheduled to prevent future shelter intake.
