I am thrilled to share that we are launching Sound Society, SMASH's recurring giving program, where we're turning up the volume on a healthier future for local musicians. As a non-profit, we rely on the kindness and support of folks like you to keep Puget Sound musicians healthy.  Being a Sound Society member is the most impactful way to help because when you give regularly, you play a critical role in helping us plan, budget, and make decisions.

Recurring donors play a critical role in helping us plan, budget, and make decisions based on our available resources. By supporting us regularly, you ensure we can continue serving our musicians sustainably, expand our programs, and reach more musicians. This empowers them to prioritize their health and well-being, which is at the core of our mission. Thank you for considering becoming a recurring donor and supporting our cause!

Being a Sound Society member also comes with some great perks, including

  • regular updates on the impact of your generosity.

  • access to complimentary tickets to SMASH events.

  • a Sound Society pin, and depending on which level you choose, SMASH merch.

  • optional recognition on the SMASH website and in our fall benefit concert program.

  • a special members-only presale period for SMASH Benefit tickets.

PLUS— we are giving founding Sound Society members who sign up at the $100 a month or more level by the end of GiveBIG on May 8th a complimentary pair of tickets to the SMASH Benefit in November!

Your decision to join Sound Society isn't just about donating – it's about investing the heart and soul of our music scene. You're creating a stronger, healthier music community by providing a foundation of health for musicians. Our goal is to welcome 100 new Sound Society members by the end of GiveBIG on May 8th. You can't join through the GiveBIG platform, so if you'd like to join, visit SMASHSeattle.org/Sound-Society.

Sound Society membership isn’t the only way you can support the health of our local music scene during GiveBIG. If you aren't in a place to become a recurring donor, I encourage you to make a one-time donation today because every dollar counts. You can make your one-time donation here on the GiveBIG platform or give directly at SMASHSeattle.org/donate. Your donation to SMASH, whether monthly or not, directly impacts our capacity to provide local musicians with access to healthcare services and resources.

Together, we can create a music community where every member feels supported, understood, and empowered to seek help when needed.
