Seattle International Dance Festival

A nonprofit organization

Mission

The mission of the Seattle International Dance Festival (SIDF) is to support the local dance community by empowering local artists and presenting high-quality dance that evokes a deeper understanding of the world's diversity and depth, bringing artists together from across the world to facilitate artistic exchange.

Description

The Seattle International Dance Festival is an ten-day annual celebration of award-winning global contemporary dance with over 125 local, national and international artists and 25 companies, many internationally renowned. Currently in its 18th year, the 2023 festival edition includes artists from France, Switzerland, South Korea, India, Mexico, Hawaii, as well as the East and West Coast of the U.S. and over 60% of its artists hailing from the Pacific Northwest region.

Your donation will help SIDF provide over 25% of its tickets free or low-cost and continue to offer livestream to empower access for those who seek cultural exposure but do not have the means or ability. It will also foster the artistic work of hundreds of artists, many of whom are BIPOC disproportionately impacted over the last few years, during the post pandemic rebuilding.

A choice to support SIDF will strengthen the entire Seattle dance community.

Please GIVE BIG to help SIDF rebuild our dance community in 2023. You can schedule a donation for Give Big today. We are very grateful for your support.
