Restorative Community Pathways (RCP) is a community-rooted alternative to punishment, grounded in healing, accountability, and connection. We work with youth accused of harm—whether it’s a school fight or car theft—and the people impacted by that harm, offering a path forward that prioritizes community care over isolation.
Instead of removing young people from their communities, RCP surrounds them with support. Through our Community Navigators, youth and harmed parties are each paired with someone who walks with them through a process of healing, truth-telling, and restoration. Navigators help build self-determined action plans centered on long-term wellbeing, accountability, and transformation—not just for the youth, but for those who’ve been impacted, too.
RCP provides support in four key areas:
Basic Needs: From the first call, we respond with immediate support—housing, food, health care—through our Youth and Families Fund.
Connection: Weekly meetups and relationship-building activities like bowling or art help youth stay engaged while receiving mentorship and access to education and job pathways.
Healing & Accountability: We create space for restorative conversations, where both parties can name what happened, share their truths, and move forward with dignity and support.
Community: Navigators are embedded within trusted organizations, reflecting the identities and cultures of those we serve. Our consortium offers rich, ongoing programming that fosters belonging, safety, and purpose.
