Mission

Formerly known as Snoqualmie Valley Shelter Services, Reclaim is a community-driven resource providing pathways to stability, opportunity, and connection.

Description

From the very beginning, we understood the importance of building deep relationships with our clients, including those struggling through active behavioral health challenges. Above all else, we are a life-saving agency and have remained grounded in the importance of meeting people where they are.

Over the years, we’ve had the honor of watching countless people grow and stabilize, surrounded by volunteers and staff members who truly care about their emotional, mental, and physical well-being.

Reclaim operates the following programs:

RIVER STREET SHELTER
Our shelter provides an immediate crisis response for people experiencing homelessness. Operating 24/7 year-round, we provide 14 permanent beds and one overflow bed, a full kitchen, 2 ADA bathrooms with one shower, and in-house laundry facilities. We served 128 individuals at our congregate shelter in 2021. 

MOTEL VOUCHER PROGRAM
This program provides an additional 30 beds in local motels for people experiencing homelessness in our community and is staffed with a program navigation manager and housing case manager.  Motel Vouchers are prioritized for families and people with health conditions that would prevent them from thriving in a congregate setting. We served 171 individuals through our Motel Voucher program in 2021.

PERMANENT HOUSING PROGRAM
Through this program, we provide vouchers for permanent housing throughout King County. This program serves individuals who have barriers to securing housing on their own and is staffed by a housing case manager and a navigator, who assist residents and provide referrals to resources as needed.
