Puget Brass strives to entertain, educate, and inspire our community through exceptional music performance in the British brass band style.

Puget Brass sees a community where the performance of live, unique music brings people of all ages and backgrounds together.
Who We Are
Formed in 1999, Puget Brass is a British-style brass band that performs traditional and contemporary literature throughout the greater Seattle area. Puget Brass players volunteer their time and efforts to perform for and educate the general public about the unique sound of traditional British brass band music.
Puget Brass performs 5-7 concerts per season with a wide variety of repertoire and themes. Our 2025-2026 season has included:
- Oktoberfest Celebration (October 11, 2025) – a concert and social hour celebrating all things Oktoberfest. We partnered with Watts Brewing Company again this year and had a great show!
- Music for Neighbors in Need (December 7, 2025) – our annual holiday concert and fund raiser for this year's organization, Lake City Partners. We were happy to support their mission of working to help people exit homelessness and enter housing in a resilient, sustainable way.
- Northwest Brass Festival (January 24, 2026) - a renewed event and a community favorite that brings local British-style brass bands together for a joint concert.
- Brass Bonanza (March 7, 2026) - a celebration of the stellar music education in the greater Seattle area. This event featured the 2026 Puget Brass Academy; our exciting youth brass band created to pass on the tradition of British brass band with the next generation of brass musicians.
- Spring Showcase (April 25, 2025) - our spring concert featuring guest clinician, conductor, performing artist, pedagogue, and scholar Joe Parisi.
- Bangers and Brass (June 6, 2026) – our annual fundraiser concert and afternoon tea celebrating all things British brass.
