Mission

'Supporting the arts' is not enough. We must support the artists.

Pratidhwani's mission is to empower and enable South Asian artists, and through them, to promote and cultivate performing arts of the Indian subcontinent.

Description

Pratidhwani celebrated its 20th anniversary year in 2023!! And it was a jam packed year with three mainstage Drama wing productions and a couple of Classical music concerts!

One of the drama productions from 2023, Hindi play Ballabhpur Ki Roopkatha  unfortunately had to be canceled mid-run after a great opening weekend. We were able to bring it back for its second weekend in Feb 2024 to a sold out opening and closing performance! Thank you once again for your support.

Year 2024 continues with our partnership with ReAct Theatre, and this April and May, we are co-producing TWO plays by Rajiv Joseph - Animals Out of Paper and Letters of Suresh. A mini Rajiv Joseph festival! These plays perform in rotation, and make a great set of companion pieces. Read more about them, and get your tickets at www.pratidhwani.org/festival.
