PorchLight's Path to Stability

Every meal, bed-night, and service PorchLight delivers represents more than a number—it represents a moment where dignity led the way. When men are met with respect, care, and the belief that change is possible, transformation follows.

In this video, Executive Director Troy Christensen addresses what Bellevue would look like without PorchLight:

Programs & Services at PorchLight

  • Shelters (EMS & Rotating Shelter). Our low-barrier emergency shelters offer safe, welcoming spaces where dignity is restored nightly and the journey toward stability begins.
  • Day Center. The Day Center provides access to meals, showers, laundry, and connection—meeting immediate needs while honoring each person’s humanity.
  • Housing. Our housing program creates more than shelter —  it offers men a foundation of dignity, safety, and support to rebuild their lives.
  • Behavioral Health. Behavioral health services meet men with compassion and respect, as part of our whole-person healing approach.
  • Housing Navigation. Through personalized support and partnership, our housing navigators help men overcome systemic barriers and take lasting steps toward a place to call home.
  • Employment Services. With empathy and encouragement, employment support services help men prepare for, pursue, and maintain work that brings both income and self-worth.
  • Case Management. Our case managers walk alongside each guest with dignity-first care — offering guidance, advocacy, and connection that leads to transformation.
