Picture Perfect Queen Anne is a volunteer-powered, grassroots neighborhood organization dedicated to ensuring that Queen Anne Avenue from Galer to McGraw, the heart of our hilltop neighborhood, remains pedestrian-and family-friendly, environmentally resilient, vibrant, and welcoming.

Description

If you've walked "the Ave," you know Queen Anne Ave is the beating heart of this neighborhood we call home. It feels like a small town nestled inside a big city. At one time, though, it didn't seem very inviting, looking neither healthy nor environmentally resilient. Gray pervaded the landscape. But thanks to your and your neighbors' donations to Picture Perfect Queen Anne (PPQA), beautiful, colorful gardens designed and planted by PPQA volunteers replaced cracked gray cement and weeds at Galer, Boston, and McGraw...transforming our main street.

These gardens have been weeded, mulched, and maintained over the years creating a healthier and happier community through the continued efforts of PPQA volunteers. Your donations buy plants, water and watering during the hot summer months, maintenance assistance, and mulch---ensuring that the gardens remain beautiful and environmentally resilient. That's FLOWER POWER.

Come join us on this FLOWER POWER journey. When you GiveBIG for the gardens, the gardens GiveBIG to us. Together let's "plant--weed--water--repeat."
