Mission

PawsWithCause Helps People and Animals in Need Through Art.

Helping Senior Citizens, underserved persons, at-risk-youth, veterans & communities to find purpose and passion through painting.

Our single painting subject is shelter animals.

Working with area groups and through community paint days we create joy & possibilities.

The painted pet portraits are displayed in 23 local area businesses getting pets & artists recognized and bringing a sense of pride of place back to communities.

Our efforts bring confidence & joy to our painters, some who've never before done art.
PawsWithCause intends to get over 3,000 animals, per region, re-homed.

This program will help save regional monies put toward tax payer animal care (estimated at $2Billion in the USA per year) & redirect that money toward other human services.

PawsWithCause art efforts are akin to art therapy. One of our senior citizens said, after her first time painting, "This makes you feel like you're more than you were."

Description

PawsWithCause has a simple belief, a belief that we, as a community can come together to DO. MORE. GOOD.

By helping people learn to paint or re-enliven a lost art talent, or just find their play again! We are creating a community that cares. Cares about one another and cares about the shelter pets we share this planet with.

Each of us has an ability to help. The simple words DO. MORE. GOOD! encapsulate this. At PawsWithCause we work with at risk-youth, persons with developmental disabilities, low income and chronically homeless as well as our very precious senior citizens and the whole of at-large community.

We understand that not everyone can adopt, but anyone can help a shelter pet.

The PawsWithCause painting program brings to light hidden talents along with a sense of joy, purpose and accomplishment. People move outside of themselves and their daily concerns to do good for another being. Painting the shelter pets brings a sense of worth and confidence to those involved.

Our work for over 50 shelters is displayed at 23 local businesses who have proudly declared their support for our initiative: "Helping shelter pets get seen, outside the cages and in every-day places".

Anyone and everyone can participate in our program and gain a sense of purpose and place within our program.
