Partners in Print

A nonprofit organization

Building connections, one letter at a time

Partners in Print brings people together by using old printing presses to amplify new voices, share knowledge, and spark creativity.

In a world gone digital, we are the analog holdouts: the advocates for getting one's point across with type, ink, and paper through the art of letterpress printing.

PiP connects thousands of people in the Pacific Northwest and beyond through civic-minded programs — most of them at no charge. Last year alone, community support helped:

  • Create 800 free citizen-printed posters at mobile Press Power events
  • Connect over 700 letterpress lovers from around the world at online events and classes
  • Spotlight 12 emerging artists for Print Futures
  • Deploy free Print Kits to 20 artists and organizations
  • Collaborate with 26 letterpress artists to transform 22 pediatric patients at Seattle Children's into published poets
  • Award 34 scholarships

To keep this momentum going, we look to the generosity of those who value the role art plays in nurturing vibrant, resilient communities. Whether you’re making a first-time contribution, becoming a new monthly donor, or renewing your support, we encourage you to sustain arts-based programming at any amount that is meaningful to you.

  • If you prefer to make a gift by check, please make it out to "Shunpike" with "Partners in Print" in the memo line. Please send checks to: PO BOX 22439, Seattle, WA 98122.
  • If you have a DAF or IRA account, you can place donations in your cart as you would if you were paying by credit card, and then indicate when you check out that you will be using your DAF/IRA.

We love serving our community with programs that matter, and appreciate your ongoing support.
