Partners in Print

A nonprofit organization

Our mission

Partners in Print brings people together by using old printing presses to amplify new voices, share knowledge, and spark creativity. In a world gone digital, we are the analog holdouts: the advocates for getting one's point across with type, ink, and paper through the process of letterpress printing.

Building connections, one letter at a time

PiP connects thousands of people in the Pacific Northwest and beyond through civic-minded programs — most of them at no charge. To keep this momentum going, we look to the generosity of those who value the role art plays in nurturing vibrant, resilient communities. Your financial contribution provides the vital support we need to power these programs:

  • Press Power engages all abilities and ages through hands-on poster printing events designed to amplify all voices.
  • Words of Courage transforms pediatric patients into published poets through letterpress-printed broadsides.
  • Shop Talks and Print Futures provide free educational and networking opportunities for artists at all stages of their printmaking adventures.
  • Print Kit unlocks the letterpress tools and knowledge that educators, cultural institutions, and libraries need to share the power of the press with their communities, on their terms.

We can’t maintain this level of impact without you

Whether you’re making a first-time contribution, becoming a new monthly donor, or renewing your support, please give at any amount to sustain the arts-based programming that is meaningful to you.

  • Consider becoming a monthly donor! It helps Partners in Print plan ahead, and is a convenient way to make a real impact at a level that's affordable for you.
  • If you would prefer to make a gift by check, please make it out to "Shunpike" with "Partners in Print" in the memo line. Please send checks to: PO BOX 22439, Seattle, WA 98122.
  • If you have a DAF or IRA account, you can place donations in your cart as you would if you were paying by credit card, and then indicate when you check out that you will be using your DAF/IRA.

We love serving our community with programs that matter, and appreciate your ongoing support.
