Support Students Growing a Wider Worldview

This year, 300 students will join OWN's programs to grow into wider worldviews. Our model is rare, combining accredited language & leadership classes, along with study abroad, while prioritizing the determined students who are historically marginalized by education systems. This means we:

• offer all programs on a sliding scale. Tuition meets only 19% of our expenses
• hire staff like Ahmed with lived experience as global citizens
• plan class times, locations, and activities to meet the needs of diverse families. Classes take place online as well as in person
• bring intensive staff support to meet student and family needs
• work to create culturally competent, anti-racist learning spaces

81% of our students are BIPOC, low-income, and/or the first generation of their family to attend college.

Only 19% of our expenses are met by tuition. Together we fill in the rest.
