We have a funding gap coming up for 2 months, until our next grant kicks in. Our funding for this year got us through 10 strong months but now we need your help to have two more strong months of funding before our next round of funding kicks in. 

We can't continue these important services that have provided over 400 showers already this year, without your donation today. 

Our Services

Nurture Hope helps Thurston County's unhoused community with affordable housing and provides mobile showers to those who don't have regular access to clean running water. 

Our Shower Power Plus Program brings showers to our unsheltered and houseless neighbors in Thurston County in order to enhance human dignity, quality of life, build self-esteem, and their ability to find jobs and better housing.

Our Build A Bus program enhances the quality of life of our unhoused Thurston County neighbors by increasing new and affordable housing options. Meanwhile, they learn new life skills, teamwork, and build self-esteem. 

A shower is one of the most basic of human needs!

Nurture Hope serves Thurston County residents who do not have regular access to running water. Having access to hot running water when living unsheltered is a challenge. 

Since July 2020, we have offered over 5,100 showers to the community. We are currently partnering with Thurston County, the City of Olympia, Providence Mobile Medical and Olympia Union Gospel Mission to host these services in Olympia.

We chose to help meet this basic need by investing in a mobile shower trailer and week after week bringing mobile hygiene, new socks and underwear, basic hygiene supplies, and access to local resources and referrals, inviting partner organizations to join us on site where appropriate. 

We need people like yourself to invest in this mission by donating today. Otherwise we may have a gap in funding in the coming months and it will be more challenging to offering these important services.

Our Founder
Nurture Hope was founded by Lisa Gillotti, who has a personal connection to the challenges faced by houseless individuals. Lisa's dedication to service and her passion for creating positive change led to the birth of our organization. We understand that life can take unexpected turns, and it's our mission to provide support and hope to those who need it most.

Our generous faith communities include Union Gospel Mission, Capital Christian Center, Unity of Olympia, United Churches, Evergreen Christian Center, Saint Benedict Episcopal Church, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church who have provided current and past shower trailer locations, countless compassionate volunteers, and generous donations.
