$2,000 Goal

Norwescon is the Pacific Northwest’s premier science fiction and fantasy convention, and one of the largest entirely volunteer-operated regional conventions in the United States. While maintaining a primarily literary focus, Norwescon is large enough to provide a venue for many of the other aspects of science fiction and fantasy and the interests of its fans such as comics, costuming, art, gaming, science, technology, and much, much more.

Norwescon is also a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, features over 500 hours of panel programming, showcases more than 200 panelists specializing in more than 20 different tracks, hosts the Philip K. Dick Awards for distinguished science fiction literature, features a 6,250 square-foot Dealers Room, writing classes, the Norwescon Writers’ Workshop, youth programming, a masquerade costume contest, an art show, dances, live music, and such a wide variety of things to see and do and hear that we can’t possibly list them all!

Donations benefit the Norwescon Community Fund (NWCF). Inspired by prior funds and initiatives, NWCF supports bringing more people into our community. The NWCF is a special fund to help defray the expenses of attending Norwescon for BIPOC, LGBTQIA2+, and Pacific Northwest people of limited means.
