North Urban Human Services Alliance

A nonprofit organization

NUHSA advocates for human services in North King County (NKC) on behalf of its residents and the agencies that serve them.

As an alliance of human services providers, nonprofits, cities, residents, faith organizations and community leaders, NUHSA advocates for a strong and accessible health and human services system in our North King County communities of Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, Kenmore, Bothell and Woodinville.

Our Mission is to advocate support for health and human services in North King County through the promotion of partnerships between communities and providers.

Our Goals are to offer decisive leadership and a robust voice in local and regional human service decisions. Detect and relay emerging needs and concerns in community human services. Foster cooperation, coordination, and collaboration among providers, funders, and the community to amplify resources and responsiveness to community needs. Champion a continuum of care that broadens service accessibility.
