New Hope Community Development Institute

We're building hope and an equitable future! The New Hope Community Development Institute, located in the heart of Seattle’s Central District, is a nonprofit committed to the preservation of a vibrant livelihood in the Central District and surrounding areas and greater Seattle area, including designated regional opportunity zones.  To this end, we cultivate affordable housing opportunities for all, incubate Black-owned business development, promote Black wealth-building and financial sustainability, and advance educational and training opportunities. 

We are guided by our core values of justice, belonging, well-being, vibrancy, respect, and joy.  We make impact, we lead, and we partner to building housing + hope.
