Mission

Everyone deserves the opportunity to go to school; but for some, attending school is impossible.
At Maasai Education & Empowerment Today (MEET), our mission is to provide a high school education for young Maasai girls in Kenya who cannot afford the school expenses.

Description

Kenya only provides a free public education through the 8th grade.
To continue an education past 8th grade, students must attend a private boarding school.
Every secondary school requires a paid tuition and uniform fee ranging from $400-$500 per year.
However, many Maasai girls come from very poor families making less than $350 per year; therefore, annual school fees are not possible for them to pay.
MEET provides scholarships to underprivileged Maasai girls who want to continue their education.

You can change a girl's life, her family and community by making a donation to MEET.

HELP us reach our goal of $2,000. This will provide a girl with a 4 year scholarship to high school. MEET has generous donor willing to match the first $1,000.

Kenya has a saying, " Educate a girl and you educate her whole family."
