For the past 40 years, Little Star has provided affordable, high quality early childhood education and childcare to Methow Valley families. Your support means that children have access to inspiring programs that encourage initiative, deliberation, confidence, and independent choice, teachers have access to higher pay and benefits, and families have access to our financial aid program. Description

Little Star School uses a Montessori-inspired approach to nurture and inspire children in our kindergarten, preschool, toddler, and infant programs. Age appropriate materials, a robust arts and environmental education enrichment program, and extensive outdoor time help children grow physically and intellectually at their own rate and inspired by their own interests. Research continues to show that a strong foundation in early childhood education lays the groundwork for healthy, active, and engaged adolescents and adults!

Little Star strives to keep our programming accessible to all families, regardless of income level. Over 25% of the children who attend Little Star receive need-based financial aid, and we are budgeted to give away over $110,000 in assistance in the coming school year.
