Who We Are

The KBTC Association is the 501(c)3 organization supporting the work of KBTC Public Television. Together, we connect people and communities through inspiring and insightful programs and find new and meaningful ways to fulfill our mission as innovators in children’s educational media.

Whether you watch our broadcast channel or stream our shows on the PBS App, we know you turn to KBTC and PBS for understanding, compelling storytelling, and moments of joy. But did you know our community also turns to KBTC to help provide children the support they need to succeed in school and life? 

Your donations continue the legacy of shows like Reading Rainbow, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, and Sesame Street through the work of the KBTC Education team.  We're proud to partner with local school districts and community organizations to provide professional development for educators, free curriculum-based after-school activities for kids, and on-going learning neighborhoods that engage entire families in a bilingual, culturally-responsive environment.
