Jewish history and values guide our work; therefore, we provide effective services to people of all backgrounds and also have a responsibility to meet the particular needs of Jewish individuals and families in the region.
Description
JFS helps vulnerable individuals and families in the Puget Sound region achieve well-being, health and stability. Founded in 1892, JFS delivers essential human services to people of all income levels, religions, and backgrounds. Our core services include financial assistance for people with critical food, housing, and medical needs; trauma-informed counseling; and case management. We support a wide range of communities, including low-income populations, survivors of domestic violence, older adults, people with disabilities, and refugees/immigrants.
