Support Affordable Housing on Whidbey Island!

Island Roots Housing is dedicated to creating affordable housing solutions that support the people who make our community strong. From teachers and healthcare workers to artists and small business owners, we believe everyone deserves a place to call home. Starting with Generations Place, 14 2- and 3-bedroom homes in Langley, WA.

Now we’re facing an appeal that threatens to delay Generations Place—just as we were ready to break ground. While we’re confident in the City’s process, we must defend this much-needed project.

Generations Place was designed to do one thing: create permanently affordable homes for the people who hold our community together— people who are being priced out of the place they call home.

Nonetheless, on April 14th a neighboring condominium developer filed an appeal challenging the City’s approval of our site plan.

That’s why we’re launching a legal defense fund, so our current housing resources stay focused on building homes—not fighting in court.

Our $5,000 GiveBIG goal will help us take this legal hurdle head-on.

Let’s clear the path for Generations Place—every gift moves us closer.

Join us in making a difference—Give BIG today!
