Description

IDHO is an international humanitarian non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization registered in the US as a US Public Charity under the code of IRS 501 (c)(3) dedicated to work in Ethiopia in the Somali region to implement and supply the basic human necessities, to challenge education and create a sustainable environment by implementing tools and resources that can bring communities to a mutual level of understanding to build towards a unified goal. Also, the organization will provide sustainable livelihoods intervention opportunities to support the most vulnerable and susceptible communities in both rural and urban areas. IDHO is working to implement equal access to quality education, adequate healthcare, pure and potable water and sanitation, and sustainable community development.

As an organization, we are working from the grassroots community level to bring positive change. Our projects are based on community needs assessments performed by staff working in individual towns and cities to identify the most emergent needs of the community. We are passionate about bringing change to this region by providing real solutions in the community. Not just covering up the issues with short term band-aids. Your contributions will help bring lasting results in the form of a fresh look on creating a solution to end the conflict and struggle that affects us globally.
