Historic Wallingford

Established in 2017, Historic Wallingford is a volunteer neighborhood organization with the mission of fostering an awareness of and appreciation for Wallingford’s history and architecture. Your support helps Historic Wallingford connect residents and visitors with local history through activities like Exploring Wallingford brochures, The Wallingford Local Radio Show, short videos showcasing Wallingford stories and home styles, and local history features. 

                

Our initiatives in 2023 focused on celebrating Wallingford and engaging more with our local community through hands-on and sponsored activities. In 2024, we hope to expand upon these efforts with beautification projects, a self-guided exploration of south Wallingford, Indigenous research, and an interactive mapping project to enhance the Wallingford-Meridian Streetcar Historic District. Your support will help Historic Wallingford make these activities happen. We look forward to continuing to celebrate Historic Wallingford with you in 2024!
