When Seattle native Keith Tucker founded Hip Hop is Green in 2009 on his grandparents’ soil — and where his community built a new life away from the Jim Crow South — he sparked a national movement.

Every city in America needs spaces that provide refuge and empower revolutionary transformation against climate change. We’re a nonprofit reclaiming hip hop culture to create these spaces, especially for the holistic wellness and survival of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) in low-income communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis. Why hip hop? Hip hop culture is one of the most powerful forces of change worldwide.

Leading hip hop artists, food justice advocates, architects, climate change experts, and more bring to life our holistic wellness programs for young people and make our futuristic projects — today’s reality. Join us. Your support matters.

Your dollars will:

  • Create more innovative hydroponic farms and educational labs in cities across America that fight climate change — and provide a refuge for marginalized communities.

  • Support young BIPOC students nationwide as they become climate changemakers through hip hop culture, build careers, produce creative media that empowers their self-worth, and gain a healing community of friends and mentors.

  • Help communities plant thousands of trees.

  • Provide plant-based meals, and introduce life-changing knowledge about healthy lifestyles to thousands of families in low-income communities.

  • And much more! Visit: https://www.hiphopisgreen.com/.

Thank you!
