$150,000 Goal

Grace’s Mahali is a nonprofit arts organization rooted in equity, creative liberation, and community healing. Founded by Grace Love, a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and advocate, the organization exists to support and uplift Black, Brown, queer, and disabled artists—especially in rural and historically under-resourced communities.

“Mahali” means place in Swahili, and this is exactly what we’re building: a place where artists are seen, supported, and celebrated. Through curated events, artist residencies, and collaborative gatherings, Grace’s Mahali provides space for storytelling, cultural expression, and collective joy.

We are currently working to raise $150,000 to expand our programming and capacity—supporting year-round artist events, sustainable staffing, and the infrastructure needed to keep this work thriving.

Grace’s Mahali is more than an arts organization. It’s a movement toward justice, rest, and reimagination—for artists and the communities that love them.
