Two years ago, Ricardo Lagunes Gasca, a dedicated human rights lawyer, and Antonio Díaz Valencia, an Indigenous leader, disappeared in Mexico. Their crime? Defending their land and people from destructive mining development. Their disappearance is part of a global crisis—environmental defenders are being targeted, silenced, and killed for standing against powerful interests.

At Global Rights Advocacy (GRA), we refuse to let their stories fade. Their fight for justice must continue. But we need your help.

The Fight for Justice

Through our Environmental Defenders Initiative, we are fighting back by:

🔹 Demanding International Accountability – We bring cases before the United Nations and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights to hold perpetrators responsible.

🔹 Building Legal Defenses – We provide critical legal representation for environmental defenders, ensuring they have the protection and advocacy they need.

🔹 Supporting Families & Communities – We stand with the families of the disappeared, helping them seek justice while continuing to protect their land and rights.

🔹 Exposing the Truth – We document human rights violations, bringing global attention to the dangers faced by those on the front lines of environmental protection.

Why This Matters Now

Under the current political climate, policies that weaken environmental protections and embolden corporate interests have put more defenders at risk. Increased rollbacks on environmental regulations, government inaction, and corporate impunity have created a system where violence against defenders goes unpunished.

If we do nothing, more voices will be silenced. More communities will be displaced. More families will be shattered.

Our Goal: $60,000 for Justice
