Our mission is to foster opportunities, enhance awareness, and facilitate community integration for adults living with developmental and other disabilities. We're dedicated to turning challenges into opportunities for our vibrant community.

Description

At Gatheringplace, we are committed to empowering adults who have developmental and other disabilities. Through carefully designed programs in art, culinary arts, organic gardening, music, movement/sign language, and our wildly popular "Yummy" Dog Treat Bakery, we aim to enhance social interaction, impart critical life skills, and foster a sense of belonging within the community. Each program is meticulously structured with the ultimate goal of guiding our participants towards reaching their highest potential and living life to the fullest. 

At Gatheringplace, we don't see disabilities as limitations. We consider our community not just unique, but also vibrant and full of potential. Every day, we strive to enrich the lives of our participants by providing them with the tools they need to turn their challenges into opportunities. 

Gatheringplace is celebrating its 30th anniversary of serving our vibrant population! 

Your support will help us improve and grow our programs, expand our reach, and find a new permanent home for Gatheringplace, which is operating out of a temporary location after losing our lease of 20+ years.
