Mission and Vision

FYRE is a youth-serving, community-based organization founded and operating in one of Washington's most rural areas, Okanogan County. At FYRE, we advocate for equitable opportunities that allow all youth to thrive because we believe in creating a future where every young person has the opportunity for a healthy mind, body, and home.

To achieve this future, FYRE's work is organized around building community and belonging, offering safe, healthy, culturally appropriate spaces and programs for youth, connecting with and providing services for young people furthest from opportunity, and creating community change in areas that are impacting young people such as housing, reproductive health, and education.

What We Do

We opened our doors in the fall of 2020 and since we opened, we have maintained services and programs that are responsive to our youth's needs. Today, our offerings include our MTN afterschool recreation space, leadership programming, free clothing, hygiene, sexual health, and safety supplies, and our whole-person services where we provide referrals and resources to youth experiencing homelessness and those at risk of sexual exploitation, and more. We impact the lives of over 700 young people each year.
