Mission

The Flower Feline Sanctuary Mission changed in 2025, after losing one of our co-founders, my mother Geri Erb in 2023. The desire to continue my mother's legacy, while building community amongst rescuers motivated me to restructure our organization. Flower Feline Sanctuary now offers figurative “sanctuary” through crucial funding for the small organizations with “boots on the ground.” Micro rescues are encouraged to apply for mini grants to help with spay/neuter costs and assistance with extraordinary medical expenses for individual kitties, so that they can go on to be adopted or comfortably live out their life in a feral colony.

Description

Flower Feline Sanctuary cares for 25+ senior, unsocialized, and special needs kitties who call the sanctuary home. Because the number of kitties we can physically care for is limited, we are excited to be able to help more kitties through our grants. Our board vets each nonprofit we grant funds to - these folks work hard to save abandoned and neglected kitties, and those facing certain death in high kill shelters. Community cats stuck in a cycle of constant breeding, a loving adult kitty simply tossed outside after their person dies, or helpless, tiny kittens left at a municipal shelter with no foster program all deserve compassion. The rescues we support offer healthcare, freedom from reproducing, and the opportunity to find a real home. Join us in making the world better for cats.
