Flip's Island Rescue & Sanctuary is an all-volunteer foster based non-profit organization established in 2024, but with over 20 years of rescue experience. We are a registered Washington State charity and an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (tax ID #99-2165029). All donations are tax-deductible.

Mission

Flip’s Island Rescue & Sanctuary...FIRS mission is to provide the highest level of compassion for the animals entrusted in our care; to measurably reduce companion animals' overpopulation and to take a leadership role in promoting humane values and education for the benefit of animals.

A Message from Our Favorite Foster...

My name is Colleen, and many of you may know me as your furry friends' dedicated foster mom. Over the years, I have had the privilege of connecting with so many of you through the adoption of cats and kittens while I was with a different rescue organization. Today, I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you!

With the support of other passionate cat lovers, we have established our own 510(c)3 Non-profit rescue, Flip's Island Rescue & Sanctuary. Our mission is rooted in a deep commitment to the welfare of cats/kittens and dogs/puppies in our community, ensuring that each one receives the love and attention they deserve.

As a foster mom, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of love and care in the lives of these animals. The trust and bonds I have built with adopters in the past inspire me to continue this journey with Flip's Island Rescue & Sanctuary. Our goal is to create a safe haven for animals, where they can thrive and find their forever homes.
