Description

The Federal Way Symphony continues the long tradition started in 1983 of providing music for the City of Federal Way and neighboring communities, of bringing people together to be entertained, stimulated, and even challenged by the masterworks of the art form. Every city of renown in the world boasts a symphony orchestra, and Federal Way is no exception. Our location is ideal - with a population of over 750,000 living within 20 minutes. This provides incredible opportunities for us to enrich the communities by providing a first-class experience for both long-time patrons of our group as well as those yet to discover our performances. We perform at the Federal Way Performing Arts and Events Center a world-class facility close to I-5 with plenty of free parking.

Through scholarships, masterclasses and performance opportunities we work to develop the next generation of musicians and music lovers. Through the generosity of our donors, we are able to offer free tickets for all youth under 18 and complimentary tickets for those who would not otherwise be able to afford them. For a segment of our audience, the Federal Way Symphony will be their first experience with classical music, which we hope will lead to a lifetime of enjoyment of the genre.
