Our Mission

Evergreen Social Impact’s (ESI) mission is to strengthen mission-driven organizations and achieve enduring impact in the Pacific Northwest (PNW) by developing shared infrastructure and expertise, building a culture of partnership, and advancing equity.

ESI envisions a society built on the principles of social justice, equity, robust communities, healthy people, and a sustainable environment.

About ESI

ESI tackles the challenges of growth and impact faced by small, under-resourced nonprofits via fiscal sponsorship. We offer both unincorporated and incorporated organizations essential operational infrastructure, governance, financial management, and compliance assistance. By simplifying administrative tasks and enabling access to grants and tax-deductible donations, ESI empowers these organizations to focus on their missions and enhance their impact. Our work targets social justice and systemic change-focused organizations, aiding them in constructing sustainable operational frameworks to overcome growth obstacles. Through this approach, ESI is fostering a network of resilient, mission-driven organizations across Washington State.

Our Sponsored Partners

Currently, ESI provides services to eight Sponsored Partners, each serving different communities within Washington State. Each of ESI's Sponsored Partners is focused on addressing systemic issues and meeting the needs of underserved communities, including BIPOC, immigrant, and LGBTQIA+ populations.

The organizations supported by ESI include:

  • The Andy Hill Cancer Research Endowment (CARE) Fund, promoting cancer research for better health outcomes in Washington.
  • Golf Pencil Group (GPG), providing reflective writing programs to incarcerated women at King County Correctional Facility and to individuals transitioning from incarceration, addiction, and homelessness.
  • South King Emotional Wellness League (SKEWL), raising awareness and increasing access to mental healthcare to underserved BIPOC communities in South King County.
  • Supporting Partnerships in Education & Beyond (SPEB), advocating for systemic change in education for immigrant and BIPOC families.
  • The Thriving Communities, Families, and Youth Initiative (TCFYI), working to reduce youth and family involvement in child welfare and the justice system.
  • Pride Across the Bridge, creating safe spaces and resources for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals in East King County.
  • Rwandan Community Association of Washington, building a united and engaged Rwandan community in Washington State.
  • Washington United Migrant, building a "migrant-to-migrant support" network dedicated to empowering migrants to become community leaders and active agents in addressing social and environmental challenges.

Your Impact

Your support empowers us to improve our capabilities, assist both new and existing Sponsored Partners, and guarantee that additional organizations can access the resources and funding essential for their success. With your contribution, ESI will keep strengthening the nonprofit sector, making it more resilient and better equipped to tackle the most urgent social issues in the PNW.
