Eastrail Partners

Eastrail Partners believes the Eastrail should be for everyone, every day.

 Our Mission is to create a thriving trail that reflects the diversity of the Puget Sound in partnership with communities, business, and governments to raise awareness, secure trail funding, and connect people to each other and the trail.

With 20 miles of Eastrail open, and about 22 to go, the Eastrail is an ambitious rail to trail project that spans two counties, 6 cities, and ownership by Puget Sound Energy and Sound Transit. 

 Eastrail Partners is the “friends-of” nonprofit partner for the 42-mile Eastrail, stewarding this ambitious trail effort in partnership with government and community. We build the advocacy for governmental funding for trail construction, partner with community groups and other nonprofits to grow a robust community of trail users and advocates, and bring the private sector into this work.
