Mission

To enhance the lives of community (feral) cats by promoting spay and neuter and providing training and mentorship in TNR (trap-neuter-return)

Description

The Community Cat Coalition is made up of five rescue groups (MEOW, Pasados Safe Haven, South County Cats, Pawsititve Alliance and Cat Tales Rescue) along with over 30 independent rescuers. We also work closely with Feral Cat Spay Neuter Project and Everett Animal Shelter. The CCC provides training and support to individual rescuers who work to reduce the population of community cats through trap-neuter-return.

The Community Cat Coalition is an all-volunteer organization - 100% of your donations go directly to improving the lives of our community cats!

In 2024 over 1,700 cats were altered and vaccinated through our voucher program, sponsored spay/neuter clinics, our partnership with Everett Animal Shelter, and grants issued to organizations facilitating low cost spay/neuter services.  Since our inception in 2013 over 11,500 cats have been altered and vaccinated through our programs.  

In 2024 over 8,700 pounds of dry cat food and 10,000 cans of wet food was provided to assist community cat caregivers providing food for feral cats.  Since inception over 98,500 pounds of dry food and 120,000 cans of wet food have been distributed.

The CCC also provides assistance with veterinary supplies and expenses for the care of community cats.

CCC members provide mentoring, assistance, and equipment to people in our community needing help with trapping their community cats for the purpose of spay/neuter and vaccination.  

We wish to recognize the Washington Federation of Animal Care and Control for providing us with a $3,000 grant in 2023-2024 enabling the CCC to cover the cost of 50 spay/neuter surgeries for community cats at the Everett Animal shelter.
