Colon Cancer Stars is dedicated to making a difference in Washington state. Through a range of initiatives, we provide crucial education and support to individuals affected by colorectal cancer.
From health fairs and workplace events to awareness campaigns and speaker engagements, our impactful programs are actively raising awareness about the importance of colorectal cancer screening. Our engaging experiences, like our 30-ft inflatable colon and screening card program, make a real difference in education.
For those facing a new diagnosis, we offer invaluable support through peer-to-peer groups in person and online. Our experienced volunteers provide navigation assistance and foster hope through positive encouragement, drawing from their journeys with the disease.
At Colon Cancer Stars, we believe in the power of storytelling. We empower individuals to share their experiences, drive positive change, and inspire others to take action.
We're also committed to amplifying the patient voice in research. By partnering with researchers, we ensure patient perspectives are heard and considered. Additionally, we actively participate in research efforts, lending our unique insights and experiences to advance understanding and treatment options.

Recognition
We helped pass Bill 1337, which mandated insurance companies cover colorectal cancer screening and most recently bill 1626.
