Clark College is the largest public institution of higher education in Southwest Washington, and it is a community college that accepts students of all ages and backgrounds each quarter. The college offers various programs, including nursing, dental hygiene, and mechatronics, and students can earn high school diplomas, GEDs, certificates, and degrees. Additionally, the Running Start program enables high school students to obtain college credit at little or no cost.

Located in the heart of Vancouver, Washington, Clark College's main campus occupies 101 acres in Vancouver Central Park. The college also provides classes at Washington State University Vancouver and the Columbia Tech Center, which is a satellite location in east Vancouver. Its non-credit Community and Continuing Education program provides corporate and continuing-education classes, and students can transfer credits earned at Clark College toward their bachelor's degrees through partnerships with regional colleges, universities, and technical institutions or continue their education at Clark College in one of its five bachelor's programs.
