"I came to Vancouver, Washington, 23 years ago from Mexico. My 5 children and I desperately needed help and food, and Clark County Food Bank helped us survive. Now I give back and help other families by volunteering at Community Kitchen Fruit Valley food pantry."

Esme found more than food at Clark County Food Bank. She found hope, support, friendship, and the strength to become a leader in our community. She is a founder of the Spanish PTA at Fruit Valley Elementary School, helped start the food pantry at the school, and helped establish the Community Kitchen Fruit Valley pantry. Multiple times a week at Community Kitchen, Esme does client intake, stocks shelves, and helps clients find the resources they need to become independent.

Clark County Food Bank's mission is to alleviate hunger and its root causes. When a client gets the support they need, moves towards independence, and gives back to help others, we know we are making a difference.

Clark County Food Bank urgently needs your support to continue serving a dramatic increase in the number of people needing food and services to survive. While the national average of food insecurity is at 12%, Clark County Food Bank served almost 25% of our population last year. As the 6th fastest growing county in the state of Washington, we urgently need your help to meet the critical demand for hunger relief.

Won't you please make a donation today to feed our hungry neighbors and give people the support they need to move towards independence?

Thank you for your compassion and generosity!

Clark County Food Bank manages over 8 million pounds of food each year, which is equivalent to 6.7 million meals for individuals and families in need. We work with over 50 nonprofit partner agencies at 100+ distribution sites, along with food bank led programs, to serve neighbors facing food insecurity throughout Clark County. Last year we served more than 130,000 unduplicated individuals experiencing hunger. That's almost 25% of the entire population of Clark County. As the 6th fastest growing county in the state of Washington, we urgently need your support to alleviate hunger and its root causes.
