It shouldn't take an obstacle course to open a door!

At Chinook Enterprises, accessibility opens doors...to Opportunity, Inclusion, and Community.  This year for GiveBIG we're building on our Giving Tuesday campaign, raising $15,000 to install additional automatic door openers throughout our facility.  You can help us clear the final hurdle, making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve by donating to Chinook during GiveBIG.

Automatic door openers are small, but powerful upgrades that will help us make our building more welcoming and easier to navigate for everyone who walks through our doors.

Picture this...

Imagine starting your day with a mini obstacle course.  You've got coffee in one hand, paperwork in the other, and you're trying to open a door that feels like it weighs a ton.  For many of our team members, customers, and visitors, that's a real daily challenge.

Automatic door openers transform those moments.  They remove unnecessary hurdles and replace them with independence, dignity, and ease.  What seems like a simple button can completely change someone's experience, turning an obstacle into an open door.

You can support accessibility and inclusion by helping Chinook Enterprises raise $15,000 for GiveBIG.

Your gift for GiveBIG will make a lasting impact on our mission to support over 220 individuals annually. Every new door opener we install is another step toward a workplace that reflects Chinook's mission of inclusion and opportunity for all.

These upgrades will enable us to remove obstacles and make Chinook a place where everyone belongs!

You can participate in three ways:

  1. Make a small donation that will contribute to help Chinook invest in additional automatic door openers.
  2. Share our donation page and include a brief story about why Chinook is important to you.
  3. Make a large enough donation to cover most or all of the cost of the openers.

You can learn more about Chinook and our Employment Specialists on our website.
