We are Bunker Arts Collective, a 501c3 community service non-profit based in Everett, WA serving Snohomish County.
In 2024, we were able to clear 10 tons of litter and illegal dumping and commission 8 free murals for small and independently owned business featuring new and emerging local artists. In 2025, we aim to double all of our efforts and expand our offerings to serve more of Snohomish County.
here's what we're working on so far...
dolly (our big yellow van) update
- we use this van for everything we do. we can't do this work without this van
- vinyl sponsorship logos have been ordered!!
- individual donor names are being printed in-house; 2024 sponsorships are automatically being renewed (sorry we weren’t able to order these sooner!!)
- installation anticipated march 2025 (weather permitting)
- needs a new set of tires soon (estimated around $1K) (235/85R16; E Load rating)
- ongoing maintenance, storage fees, insurance are our largest experience
art in the park with dolly
- 10 totally free arts and culture activities across 10 different public parks
- seeking about $1K to
- need a sturdy shade canopy, tables, and chairs for this!!
neighborhood sign refurbishment project
- approx. 34 signs across everett encompassing 20 neighborhoods
- refurbishments only; no redesigns same color schemes, same designs, and only light repairs when absolutely necessary
- they don’t appear to be maintained at the moment!
lions park basketball court refurb
- a local park suffering from territorial gang vandalism and violence
- half court currently underutilized; faded paint, large cracks, vandalized backboard, etc.
- paid artist opportunity with design painted on to playing surface
- community paint day to follow w/lines reinstalled
school playground refurb
- repainting black top lines (ex: hopscotch, foursquare, etc.)
- feature local artists through intertwined design elements
- no cost to school; several volunteer opportunities
- marysville school district desperately needs this
free murals for local businesses & orgs
- modest paid opportunities for new and emerging local artists
- some murals are refurbishments (like the sub shop) whereas others will be completely original commissions
- 5 murals confirmed... dozens conceptualized but need an artist (and funding!!!) to flesh out a vision and game plan
- the goal for 2025 is around 15 total, but above all, quality over quantity... (and equity for our artists)
everett mall way medians
- native wildflower meadows to slow litter accumulation, improve biodiversity, and create a gateway for pollinators in the region!!
- currently unkept weeds at a very, very busy intersection with no biodiversity and devoid of color
sidewalk poetry project
- paid opportunities for new and emerging local poets sprayed into everett sidewalks that are rain activated (@proudtoberainy)
- think a eco-friendly hydrophobic coating or pressure washing sprayed over a stencil
- last approx. 2 - 4 months and then we can apply a new poem!
