The Buckley Senior Activity Center is a place where older adults in our community can come exercise, learn, grow, create, gain nutrition through our meal program and receive transportation to essential services. The Center started with a group of seniors who met regularly for companionship and recreation in downtown Buckley during the 1960’s and early 70’s. The Buckley Multipurpose Center was built in 1979 through the acquisition of state funding and the Federal Housing and Urban Development monies. The group attained non-profit status in November 1990.
