Bridge Receiving Center provides a healing, safe place for children experiencing foster care. Children between the ages of 4 - 17 from all over Washington State arrive at Bridge after being removed from their home due to abuse or neglect, some for the first time, or who are in need of emergency placement. Children and youth can stay at Bridge for 30+ days, with trauma-responsive trained staff available 24/7. While at Bridge, children receive the tools and training they need to feel empowered and have their questions answered, experience creative therapy modules and trauma-informed care, all while waiting for their next steps- whether that's returning back home, going to live with extended family, or finding a suitable placement for them in foster care.
THE BRIDGE DIFFERENCE
