$35,000 Goal

The future of birds starts today.

Right now across the Seattle region, baby birds are hatching and fledging in neighborhood trees, parks, shorelines, and wetlands. Their future depends on the choices we make today.

More than 220 species of resident and migratory birds call our region home. They pollinate plants, disperse seeds, control insects, and bring joy and inspiration to our daily lives.

But their future is uncertain. More than half of bird species are in decline, facing growing threats from habitat degradation and fragmentation, urban hazards like window collisions and pesticides, and a changing climate.

This GiveBIG, you can help change that.

Your gift today protects the places birds need to nest and raise their young, reduces threats in our cities, and powers the community science and advocacy that safeguard birds for generations to come.

Every gift made during GiveBIG helps to ensure the baby birds we celebrate this spring grow into thriving bird populations tomorrow.

GiveBIG for birds on May 5, 2026, for a brighter future.
