We energize community creativity and inspiration to improve parks and trails on Bainbridge Island.

Description

Support the Bainbridge Island Parks & Trails Foundation, enhancing the island's parks and trails for recreation, health and wellbeing, and connection. Your gifts through Give Big Seattle make it all possible  

• MORE TRAILS. We're building out the network of public trails that connect Bainbridge Island’s neighborhoods, schools, parks and community centers, like the new Arbor Trail, Vincent to Gazzam Lake Trail, and Nute's Pond to Sunny Hill Trail, and (soon!) Lost Valley Trail connecting east and west

• MORE PARKS. We've added 8 Acre Woods park and doubled the size of Strawberry Hill Park through generous gifts

• MORE PLAY. We lead campaigns for outdoor recreation and play, like the new Strawberry Hill Bike Park, KidsUp! The Next Generation of Play, Owen's Playground, Founders Courts Pickleball and Fort Ward playground  

• MORE STEWARDSHIP. We drive year-round stewardship of public natural spaces like Blakely Harbor Park, through Student Conservation Corps, Summer Trails Crew and other work-learn and volunteer programs for youths and young adults

• MORE GRANTS. We empower our community to dream and plan their own park projects, from rowing and sailing, to pottery studios and diving platforms, to outdoor volleyball and soccer goals, to so much more
