Mission

Baseball Beyond Borders (BBB) is a sports-based community development organization whose mission is to help student-athletes of color connect their passion with their academic future off the field. 

Our model extends beyond the foul lines, assisting student-athletes and their families in navigating life beyond the 12th grade.

Leveling the Playing Field One Community at a Time

We strive to help remove the financial, geographical, and social boundaries that restrict many of the youth and families in our communities from engaging in baseball and softball. 

Baseball and softball have the power to shape future leaders, and our student-athletes are already leading the way.

Our players learn how to work collaboratively with teammates from different backgrounds, building strong relationships and developing valuable social skills.

Through working with their coaches and teammates, our players gain valuable guidance and connections for future academic and career success.

The impact of what we do goes beyond what you see on the field. We use baseball as a framework to teach critical life skills that will serve our student-athletes in the classroom, in their community activities, and in their future career.
