Burton Beach Rowing Club

A nonprofit organization

Burton Beach Rowing Club is dedicated to developing athletes of all ages with character, integrity, and grace.

Our primary goal: to encourage rowing community engagement, inspire a passion for the sport, and foster a drive for excellence both on and off the water.

The BBRC is athlete-centered to provide an experience wherein hard work and positive attitudes get rewarded with increased opportunity.

We promote physical and mental well-being, leadership skills, and camaraderie in a competitive yet fun environment.

We currently have 19 members ranging in age from 8th to 12th grade. Nearly half of the crew are new to the sport this year. The team is on the water up to six days per week, year round, with each member logging as much as 20km per day! These kids work hard and strive for excellence on and off the water. Being part of a small club requires each member to be dedicated and flexible across all disciplines of rowing. These athletes are challenged to learn all aspects of their sport while developing and practicing character, integrity and grace. BBRC had a strong showing at three regattas over the fall season and is currently training toward the spring season.

Please consider supporting Burton Beach Rowing Club as part of your end of year giving. We are pleased to announce that the first $4,000 in donations made to the club between now and the end of the year will be matched. This means, every dollar you give is worth two dollars if you give before the end of the year. Your donation will help to pay for one boat and fund the restoration of a much needed quad boat. This will allow more of our young athletes to practice and compete. You can use this link to donate.
