Trillium Academy

Trillium Academy is a mission-driven, independent non-profit school dedicated to unlocking the potential of highly capable, twice-exceptional (2e) students. Trillium offers a strengths-based, student-centered learning environment where neurodivergent learners are empowered to thrive, innovate, and grow into tomorrow’s leaders.

Trillium was born out of a vision of a school that understands the asynchronous development of 2e learners and designs education around students’ unique strengths and needs. Originally founded as a Seattle branch of Los Angeles–based Bridges Academy in 2022, it soon became clear that families needed a locally governed program. In response, Trillium Academy was formally established in 2024, and our community has continually stepped forward to support its growth.

We imagine a world where diverse learning profiles are celebrated, and every child is encouraged to develop a strong sense of identity. At Trillium, academics are integrated with executive functioning and social-emotional development, helping students build the confidence, resilience, and curiosity that fuel a lifelong love of learning.
