Mission

All Girl Everything Ultimate Program (AGE UP) invests in black, indigenous, and people of color youth in South Seattle. Our community is rooted in ultimate frisbee and committed to justice.

We envision a world without oppression, where young people are free to be their whole selves, and have the relationships and healing they need to lead and thrive.

About Us: 

AGE UP is all about community building, youth leadership, adult allies, collective learning, social justice, healing, and lots of Ultimate Frisbee. We run programs focused on anti-oppression work, create safe spaces for young people to share their truths, provide free and accessible summer camps, and support coaching at various elementary, middle and high schools in Seattle's Southend. A deep commitment to youth leadership has always defined our approach. For young people to be genuinely involved in issues that impact their lives, they must be at the table, respected for their expertise, and able to participate in decision-making. Young people who have participated in our programs come back and are hired to coordinate and organize programs, serve as full voting board members, facilitate workshops, run field trips and retreats, raise funds, and coach and mentor in their own communities.

Our GiveBIG Goal:

To reach 300 individual donors for our GiveBIG campaign!  While we also have a monetary goal of raising $50,000 online, we want to build on the strength in numbers. Grants and foundation funding have all gotten tighter and less predictable over the last year. Building our individual donor base is especially important in this moment of instability. A third of AGE UP’s income comes from individual donors - this is especially important because individual donor funds are flexible, relationship-based, and mean that we answer directly to the community. A donation of any size is super meaningful. Ten $20 donations has a lot more people power in it vs. one $200 donation! (although we also accept $200 donations if you’re able!)
