$250,000 Goal

The ADU Foundation is dedicated to addressing the critical issue of housing stability for individuals who have aged out of foster care and are at risk of homelessness. Our mission is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home.

We are looking to construct 4 ADU’s this year for young adults that have aged out of care and been faced significant challenges as they transition into independent living. Without support, they are at high risk of homelessness and other hardships. Through the Sapling Heights fundraising efforts, we aim to provide these individuals with a pathway to stable housing by offering down payment assistance to homeowners willing to build an ADU on their property.

Our approach is comprehensive. We not only assist with housing but also offer mentorship and wrap-around services to promote independence and long-term success. By reducing the financial burden associated with housing, we empower these individuals to focus on personal growth and achieving their goals.

Furthermore, our initiatives extend beyond housing assistance. We are committed to breaking the cycle of poverty by connecting our beneficiaries with employment opportunities, coaching, and financial education. This holistic approach aims to enhance financial stability and reduce reliance on living paycheck to paycheck.

The impact of our work is profound. By creating affordable housing opportunities, we contribute to the strength and resilience of our communities. With the support of ADU Foundation, individuals who have aged out of foster care can build brighter futures, free from the constant threat of housing insecurity. Join us in our mission to provide hope and stability to those who need it most.
