Homeless prevention is a vital tool in the fight against unsheltered living . We believe that housing is a human right that should be available to every member of our society. 

There are thousands of community members that are 1 missed rent payment away from joining the cycle of homelessness. Those individuals are still suffering from the results Covid, Job layoffs, raising rent , mental health and systematic racism .Our community members are requesting assistance  with rent to avoid life on the streets. There are very limited programs in King County that offer rent retention while the need is growing every day. 

AOFH is dedicated to stopping homelessness before it starts with our Community Needs Program.  We would like to offer rent assistance to those in need and can do so with your kind donation. Please donate what you can as every penny counts.

Abundance of Hope Center (AofH) mission is to provide equitable, culturally responsive, holistic and person centered homelessness prevention to our most At Risk Youth ages 12-26.

It is our goal to better strengthen our communities by empowering our most at risk youth with the self-esteem, values and tools necessary for making positive choices; while providing them with quality basic care needs, education, community resources, case management, advocacy, transitioning skills, and goal setting meetings involving professionals, family, and youth in our care.

Abundance of Hope Center is a family lead organization, founded and operated by African American women and other minority groups.  AofH was established in 2008 as a labor of love for youth slipping through the cracks; most of which were disproportionately people of color and LGBTQIA people despite being the minority of the community. AofH staff includes members who have personally faced and overcome many of the same barriers as our most at-risk youth, and are committed to inclusion and equity in practices, policy, and programming.
